American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career as a supporting role in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt she played Willa McPherson, a reporter. She also appeared in as a support character on the show with a short run The Ex List. She played Kaylee as a young Moira in the first season of on FX's American Horror Story. She was Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also is the voice of several characters from the comedy show Family Guy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and her relocated to California [1The couple lived there for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. When she was 15, she moved with her mother back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
