Born and raised in Pennsylvania Molly began working professionally at age thirteen at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater in a production of The Snow Queen. Her nomination was for a Barrymore Award nominee for her part as Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. She portrayed the same role in Into the Woods in Broadway when she was fifteen and was awarded a Drama League Award nomination. Molly appeared in the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof (2004). When she graduated from Princeton University, where she graduated with a B.A. on Religion, and became a Triangle Club member, Molly was a student at Princeton University. In this period that she made her movie debut in Disney's College Road Trip in the role of Wendy Greenhut. at the time, Wendy Greenhut made her Disney College Road Trip debut. Molly has performed several Off-Broadway productions, such as End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. In addition, she appeared in television series like Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly is a part of several regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, at Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre as well as the Westport Country Playhouse's production of The Diary of Anne Frank. Molly is most well-known for her role as Ali the teenage daughter in Paranormal Activity 2, a film from 2010, in which Jack Burditt directed and wrote the ABC comedy Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen.
